In 8 Mile, my favorite film, undeserved misfortune always goes to Eminem or in this case "Jimmy" because he lives in his mother's trailer and always has to care for his little sister, since his mother is an alcoholic, while still trying to make a living and rise in fame as a rapper from Detroit, Michigan. In addition, the man who promised him a record deal and a boost into the music industry was simply using him, Jimmy at some point caught him extremely "affectionate" with his girlfriend who he thought was loyal to him but Jimmy soon realized she just wanted to be famous and since the other man had "contacts" she saw her opportunity there. Once Jimmy confronted the man and broke his nose, the guy sent his "homies" the next night and they left him in a critically injured state,, all the whilst his little sister watched from the window of their trailer.
In my life there was undeserved misfortune when I was trying to help my little brother go to the restroom, since he was about 4 years old, and then the worst happened. Thinking he could handle the rest after I helped him sit on the toilet, I left and waited outside of the restroom but then I heard a scream and I quickly opened the door thinking he had fallen. Turns out he had just dropped the roll of toilet paper and once I gave it back to him he was extremely jolly. As I was exiting the restroom I closed the door and my finger got smashed between the door and the wall which caused for my skin to peel off and it was just hanging and bleeding a lot.
In my opinion there is no idea for a film here because the undeserved misfortune seemed quite irrelevant. On the other hand, this can make for a great comedy on the "Process of Taking are of an Infant" and simply find multiple ways to portray all the trouble parents or babysitters go through when taking care of innocent little children.

Conflict
In the film Toy Story 3, conlfict is seen when the main antagonist named Latso reveals his true colors and betrays his "friends" by throwing them in the fire pit. It is the fire pit that melts metals/burns trash and ultimately gives the viewer a suspenseful mood. When Buzz and the gang are on the verge of melting and ending what seemed like a magnificent trilogy, the viewers hearts are on the verge of collapsing and just crying themselves to sleep if the gang were to die. As soon as every viewer was on the edge of their seat, the three little Martians helped by bringing down the "claw" and picking up the entire gang.
In my personal life there has been conflict at a time when I was about 15 years old, my dad and I went to his work and he went to turn something in while I waited in the car. It was 10:30 pm and the parking lot was quite full of cars but the car next to ours was being chaotic. A man, I suppose the owner, was arguing with another man who he had been talking to him earlier but all of a sudden the began to argue. The argument was getting heated and I truly do not understand why but I got out of the car and asked if they were fine. As soon as they heard my voice both of them turned to me and yelled "What do you want, unless you have stash leave" which gave me the idea that perhaps both men were on some type of drugs. Nevertheless, I swiftly walked back to the car and locked the doors, luckily may dad arrived and we left quickly.
There may be an idea for a film here because it can show the repercussions of being on drugs and attempting to be a good Samaritan. Furthermore, the story would have to be altered in order to make the concept that the two people arguing most definitely are on drugs.

My Film Job
I would love to be the producer or screenwriter because that would give me the participation in design that i may need. Being the screenwriter means that the story and idea behind the film is planned by the person writing and being as how i love creativity adn imagination, what better job than that of a screenwriter. In addition, being a producer is a job i would like to have because with that authority it is easier to have a say in how the film is composed and of the decisions made. I like to get things done as soon as possible because that gives time to review and perhaps revise, and by being a producer it becomes much easier to do so. Combining the various types of ideas that i have in regards to films gives me the opportunity to work with a group of people who I can comfortably share my ideas and revise them in regards to others' opinions. Having the task of being the screenwriter would make me feel comfortable with my work as well because I love to draw/sketch, thus making this my job would ultimately have me doing something that I like and I would most definitely not get tired.

My Review of the Elephant Man
The Elephant Man was an extraordinary film that captured my attention through the character of Johm Merrick. It seemed unbelievable to make such abstract character fit it more than other normal looking characters. This film made me appreciate what i have and those that care for me because even the smallest things matter as Merrick demonstrated. When i saw Merrick getting attacked, i thought to myself "this type of treatment towards innocent people still carries on" and thus i began to see how the ugly people can too be the normal looking ones. The Elephant Man was a film that conveyed the message that ungliness lies within those who conceal it, which made me realize that a book should never be judged by its cover. In addition, Merrick demonstrated that it is possible to live the most joyful times in the smallest amount of time because those that surround oneself make life easier. This film was amazing in showing who the real deformed creatures are, and the lack of color made each and every scene more dramatic, impacting, impacting, because i was able to appreciate the expressions of each character's face more deeply without having to get distracted by the color. In my opinion, the best scene was when John Merrick was being chased and got cornered at the train station, but suddenly he spoke up and his scream for himself was so awe-inspiring for me. Merrick had the courage to finally stop people from treating hin as a monster and his voice put those people in their place.

My Name Is John Merrick
Tonight was one to cherish because the joy given to me by Dr. Frederick Treves made me immensly happy like i have never experienced. When Dr. Treves was helping me fix my suit for the play, which Ms. Kendall invited us to, I was delighted to have someone adequately prepare me for a play which i have never been to. I was content to hear Dr. Treves compliments after i was ready, he said i looked good which i never thought i would hear knowing how i looked after the night Porter showed me a mirror. Furthermore, i could hear the sincerity in Dr. Treves voice when he complimented me and i was so overwhelmed. Once at the theatre, the play began and my oh my was it spectacular, the people were acting and dacning oh so elegantly, i had never seen so many beautiful figures come together like that play demonstrated. When Ms. Kendall dedicated the entire play to me, it was like a warm feeling overpowered my body and i was extremely exicted. After Dr. Treves asked me to stand up, i was startled with fear from the crowd' possible reaction but they appauded me and cheer for what seemed to be an everasting amount of time. I was splendidly happy because i have been treated with disgust, hatred, and rage, but these oh so kind people offered me the feeling of care and love, something i will forever hold so close to my heart. This memorable night made me realize that not everything is abstract sounds, because the sounds of their clapping and cheering made a beautiful collision of music to my ears and heart.

Welcome to My Nightmare
I don't usually have nightmares very often, but there was once where i recall i was home with my brothers and my parents went out. The weather seemed to be quite spooky as well because it was extremely foggy and there was drizzle outside, but cold weather is my favorite except for this time around. So i was in my room watching t.v and all of a sudden i saw a man in a long coat and a hat that covered his face, my heart stopped as i recall when this figure appeared right outside my window. I felt like running to my brothers and telling them but i couldn't, all i did was stare at him in the eye and he stood silently for what seemed like hours. After i was able to control my body i began to slowly get up from the bed and approach the door but i recall he started screaming loud and i ran to my brothers. Once i told them what had happened they laughed, i was frightened as can be and felt like crying but then someone knocked on the front door and as i went to answer it, it turns out it was the same man only this time he said to me, "I'm here for you." i ran away and hid under my brother's bed, before hadn i tried waking up but i couldn't, and he entered the room but it was as if they could not see this complete stranger chasing after me, my heart was racing and after he inspected the room, the man left. I thought i was safe but then i felt someone pull me from under the bed and i appeared in a chair with spiders all over me, nothing more in this world that i hate other than spiders! Soon he was laughing and placed me in a tub which seemed endless and the water was extremely dark blue, i recall seeing sharks and ever since i saw the movie Jaws when i was about 8 years old i fear dark waters. So the shark began to swim towards me and as i saw his jaw open wide in front of my face i tried screaming, of course i forgot i was underwater and i was so scared about being eaten alive that i woke up screaming according to my mom. i clearly remember her telling me that it was 2 am and i explained to her my horrible dream to which she only answered, "oh that's nice, go back to sleep" I had the most serious "really?!" face after hearing her response.

Compassionate Science
Helping those in need is the goal that i strive for when i decided to become a Registered Nurse. The feeling of accomplishment when helping others is essential to me because when a person does not have resources for aid yet you do, it is rude to disregard their problem. Changing society and helping people, along with saving lives from ending is what my goal is. Having a profession in the nursing department gives me the knowledge to aid people with low income or anyone who needs it regardless of their situation. At first, this career seemed nteresting but now that i see the chaos and killing going around in the world that is hurting innocent people, fills me with anger and the determination to grow potential to succeed in this area to prevent innocent people from dying only because they do not have the resources to recieve medical aid. Ultimately i believe that any career can make a change for the better, it just needs motivation and belief that one person can make a drastic change.

The Future
In 100 years i believe that the technology will increase by a lot such as holographics. Instead of computers, there will be a monitor that transmits a hologram which one can use in mid-air and everyone will have one instead of a computer. The environment will look like a movie called Meet the Robinsons where there are robots that intermingle with humans and perhaps live with them. Even with all the advances, i believe that the atmosphere will be even worse because the fuel and water that will be used to create these materials will be plenty and any more pollution will just add to the critical state of Earth as it is now. There will be flying scooters and skateboards for that matter and any one to one communication will have died off because now people will use devices to talk or even look at each other. In addition, most of the daily tasks will have self operating electronic robots that fill their actions, kind of like the movie Wall-E which adds to how different people will be looking. In my opinion, robots will be taking over most control and eventually obtain a mind of their own without needing any human support.

Laughed Like Never Before
Last year with my friends was when I laughed like never
before in a long time. So we have a custom where we give nicknames to each
other based on our physical features and we decided to carry on with the
nicknames. Therefore, when we got to our friend Areli, we were having a hard
time coming up with a name for her so we thought back to childhood cartoons and
all. Considering how we were all fine with being given names, we all agreed
that her big button nose and big cheeks had the characteristics of a childhood
cartoon character but we couldn’t think of which one. Once we saw how she had a
small chin with big cheeks, it finally hit us, she looked like Jay Jay the Jet Plane.
We were all laughing so hard because after searching up an image of the Jet
Plane even she, agreed that she looked like him. We laughed so hard for the
rest of the day every time we saw her or remembered. Up to this day we still
refer to each other by our nicknames.

Modern Times
Modern Times was a film that I didn't think I would watch, overall I actually enjoyed the film because it had comedy and entertainment. Chaplin's intention of letting the world know what a person's life is like once they had spent time working in a factory for a while put in perspective the lives of the common worker. I learned that a film does not need sound in order to project a message to its viewers, because with simple actions one can perceive the message. I was impressed with the ending to the film because from the start it seemed like it was going to be depressing and not quite joyful. that idea quickly ended when i saw the relationship that Chaplin created with each character he met just like he befriend the police officer in jail. His optimistic attitude and joyful presence created a message that i interpreted as. one should not bring negative vibes even when in the worst situations possible because if there is optimism and positive attitude, there will be a solution to it all.

Bullying
Bullying has never occurred to me, but i definitely have witnessed it. My little brother was bullied when he was in 2nd grade and i didn't know until i saw a drastic change in his attitude, it wasn't until he spoke up that the confidence and joy was once again seen on his face. Ever since, i find bullying to be the most immature and idiotic action that anyone can do. Ultimately, it is just to make themselves feel better and if they need to humiliate someone else in order to feel better, then that is pathetic. Picking on people who want no problems or have a specific trait that others don't like, is not a reason to hurt them whether it is physically or emotionally. The way to stop the action of bullying or being bullied is to speak up and not be afraid of anyone no matter how tough they may seem. If people don't speak up, then there is no possible way to give them help and stop the person who is doing this to them. You don't have to be the one being bullied in order to speak up, because you can help a person who is getting hurt by telling them to speak up or even a simple bystander can ask for help in regards for another person.
My Admiration for 8 Mile
8 Mile is my ultimate
favorite film, because it describes the life experience of Eminem, my favorite
artist, and how he struggled a lot with drugs and poverty just to make it where
he is at now. The first time I saw 8 Mile I was in complete awe. I could not
say a word as to how wonderful it was to me because it writes Marshall Mathers’
life story extremely relative to how it happened, except not with so much
description as to all the drugs and things he was affiliated with. This film is
not my favorite simply because it stars Eminem, but because it painted a
picture of what it is like living in Detroit, Michigan with poverty and putting
one’s blood, sweat, and tears into escaping a miserable living habit. The
environment that he was in was not by choice, it happened to be that their
father left and his mother could not afford to give him and his brother a
luxurious life, so it depicts the struggle of falling into problems with the
wrong people or even having nothing but a pair of clothes and the struggle of keeping
a job even when in the worst scenario. Ultimately, this film obtained my
appreciation by demonstrating that with the right amount of effort, dedication,
and aspiration to become something better in life can come true you just can’t
give up and not be a quitter.
